MAISON MODERN
Located on a golf course, our Maison Modern home has a district feature that greets visitors: a steel and glass solarium that ties together two separate buildings: the main house with its pool house and then the mother-in-law suite.

The feature creates forms that are juxtaposed, solving our clients wish list and creating an architectural landmark. While the home, mother-in-law suite and pool house were all to be built at the same time, our clients wanted a feel of two separate buildings. Additionally, the solarium gives them a place to retreat during winter months and feel connected with nature due to all the plants that will inhabit the space.

Another wish list item we solved was situating the house on the site to maximize outdoor living and pool areas with ample amounts of sunlight, with covered spaces to escape from direct sun if needed. Doing solar studies was key!

Our clients are such avid golfers, their home is on a golf course AND there is a golf simulation space on the main level of the home.
Georgia Modern
Located near Lake Oconee in Georgia, we designed this home following a barn concept; it’s a simple mass that opens up to a big volume of space with a loft. It’s very cubical so you have one giant rectangular form with spaces attached to it. One is the primary suite; the other is the garage. Clean and simple lines, materials and design execution.
Calizonia formal
Our first Calizonia Formal signature style home was designed for a couple relocating to Arizona. Calizonia Casual was based on the same style, as our client saw Calizonia Formal and fell in love with it.
The pool area has multiple gathering spaces for cooking, relaxing, reading – and margaritas. A necessity in Arizona, our pool areas are designed for luxury.
Colorado old world charmer
Situated on a big plot of land, we designed this home strategically on the site to capture expansive mountain views out the front of the house.
Every day, their views are oriented towards to the mountains. Architectural style-wise, we use traditional mountain Architecture elements like stone, but made it modern with lots of big glass and lots of fireplaces. Our clients want a family home, yet one for entertaining. We designed a casual Old World rambler, that flows from one gathering space to the next, connecting the interior to the exterior courtyards around the house. With its impressive stone exterior, we softened the interior with arched entries, openings and ceilings, and used wood ceilings and beams to bring warmth and some rustic design to spaces. Light enters the home from all sides.
