Edina Remodel
The kitchen is always the heart of the home and originally the kitchen was inaccessible to the other living spaces. With this remodel, we made the kitchen the heart of the home again and connected the spaces proximity wise and you can see all the spaces in one spot –nice for hosting and just living there as a family. We move the kitchen to an oversized dining room and reorganized the entire floorpan for better connection between all the living spaces.
The kitchen’s old location is now a mudroom, laundry and closet hidden away. We improved the natural light coming into the space as well as views out for an indoor outdoor connection. Using light and bright colors makes the spaces feel bigger. We also warmed it up with wood beams, giving it some texture. Creating a unique space, the primary suite has vaulted ceilings. Arches add elegance.
